TV DEVELOPMENT

From 2013 - 2015 I worked in the development team at Back2Back Productions, progressing from Development Researcher to Development Producer. I wrote treatments and proposals for new TV shows and returnable series, interviewed contributors and experts, generated new ideas and produced promos and taster tapes. Liaising with the Creative and Managing directors we successfully developed and produced factual entertainment and observational documentaries for international clients like Sky, BBC, Channel 4, Discovery, and Channel 5.

2015: Richard E Grant’s Seven Deadly Sins - Discovery Channel

2015: Brian Johnson’s Cars that Rock series 2 - Discovery Channel

2014: Napoleon - BBC2

2014: Cybersex, Love & Marriage - Sky Living

2013: Royal Babies - Channel 5
2013: The Man Who Doesn't Breathe - Quest

More recently I've worked with the acerbic animators Modern Toss, on a development project for the BBC. Interviewing potential contributors I gathered material for animations on life as a student.

Soundbites of the interviews will be illustrated and animated to produce short tales told in the vein of Aardman Animations' Creature Comforts but with Modern Toss's deadpan delivery.
